  • Our Values

    Evangelism and Missions

We are committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those we encounter in our daily lives. Spirit- driven missions are at the forefront of what we do. We seek opportunities outside of the four walls of the church to impact and change the lives of those who need to know Christ and disciple them. We operate a campus ministry, Foundation Campus Ministry (FCM), on the campus of Wayne State University. FCM focuses on spreading the gospel and supporting students through their collegiate years and beyond.

  • Our Values

    Ministry through Service

We are committed to serving God by serving one another and those in our community. We understand the necessity to get involved and to offer our time and resources for God’s work.

  • Our Values

    Biblical Instruction

We rely on the teaching of the Holy Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit as the authority by which we live our lives. We build on the Foundation of Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

  • Our Values

    Sincere Worship

We offer our most sincere and reverent Worship to God in everything we do. We worship daily in service, obedience, our families, and resources. Our worship services are spirit-led experiences that have lasting impact on the lives of all who attend.

  • Our Values

    Fellowship and Community

We are committed to the biblical principles of community and fellowship. Foundation Church is a family that depends on one another for spiritual growth. We work as one team, with one voice for the purpose of glorifying God and kingdom expansion. We will minister to individual needs while building strong families that are used by God to show His order, unity, and generational blessings. We are committed to engaging and serving generation(s) that are underrepresented in the church community. We seek to reach people where they are and show them the way to Christ.

  • Our Mission

Building God's purpose in individuals, families, and a generation through spirit-driven missions and daily application of God's word.

Timothy Hill II (Tim), born Oct 17, 1983, in Detroit, Michigan was raised in Southfield, Michigan by his parents with five siblings. Pastor Tim was taught at a young age the importance of serving God and adhering to God’s word. His upbringing would be influential in shaping him as a young man of God.

Pastor Tim attended Minnesota State University to play collegiate basketball and pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an airline pilot. While in college there were many challenges made on the foundation and faith that he had received as a young boy and teen. Such challenges proved to be life changing as he found out that this was not just a “religion” that his parents had taught him, but a relationship he had with God for himself! In 2006, Pastor Tim graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Flight Science. Pastor Tim went on to be an airline pilot for Delta Connection for over 10 years.

After graduation, Pastor Tim returned home to his childhood church Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple where he served as his pastor’s adjutant for over 8 years. During his time serving, Pastor Tim was called to the ministry. The call to ministry was so strong that Pastor Tim retired from the airline industry to further pursue the calling God placed on his life. In his early years of ministry he was instrumental in establishing educational and spiritual programs for inner city youth, conferences for spiritual wellness, toy drives, and founded Foundation Campus Ministry (FCM) at Wayne State University in 2010 where he continues to serve as Campus Pastor. In addition, Pastor Tim received his formal seminary education at Trinity Bible College with a degree in Biblical Studies. Pastor Tim served as a chaplain at the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministry “Oasis” location to those experiencing homelessness and recovering from substance abuse.

In the height of the pandemic, Pastor Tim led a Covid-19 relief program serving less fortunate families in the inner city of Detroit. This program consisted of 10 separate hot meal and fresh produce drives and provided spiritual guidance and hope during a time of despair. The continuance of community service and growth of the campus ministry has lead Pastor Tim and his team to expand into full time ministry as Foundation Church. Foundation Church launched on August 13, 2023 in Southfield Michigan and continues to grow and prosper as God leads.

Pastor Tim serves as the Lead Pastor of Foundation Church alongside his loving and supportive wife Elizabeth of 14 years and their five children: Timothy Hill III, Luke, Isaac, David, and Holly. Pastor Tim continues to serve diligently “outside of the four walls” with a multi-generational, missioned based congregation that believes in personal discipleship and building family and community!
